Old Dirty Brasstards (ODB) is an innovative brass band and artistic collective. Its members are proud to perform to diverse audiences at a wide variety of events throughout their busy annual schedule. Our musicians realise the importance of sharing brass band heritage through their modern and imaginative interpretations.

Shows range from high profile public performances at world-renowned festivals such as Glastonbury and Latitude, to private and corporate events at an eclectic mix of cultural hubs from the Roundhouse London, to smaller venues booked by individuals who more often than not have discovered the band through public shows around the U.K. or their charming and characterful digital presence.

Old Dirty Brasstards collaborate with international arts companies, national promoters, charities and non-for-profit organisations to enrich the lives of others at many events throughout the year. ODB is committed to excellence within the performing arts, and self-funds its work through performance in more commercial and corporate settings.

The 10-piece tweed-clad members have created events funded by the Arts Council England and have worked with Youth Music at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club to help raise money for the trust.

The collective also has an outreach programme that collaborates with many social enterprises to reach undeserved groups. In 2015 ODB worked with Brick Box, Newham Council and Bouygues Development in the ‘A13 Green Project’ to create events for the local community to enjoy cultural activities.
